Sigma Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, INC. participates in the annual MLK community clean .

Montgomery, AL - The Brothers of Sigma Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, INC. participates in the annual MLK community clean-up. The event consisted of organizations with-in the Montgomery, AL tri-county area gathering at the Cleveland Avenue YMCA to get their respective assignment to clean.The event was created to give the citizens an understanding of keeping their community clean from debris and other negative issues is the beginning to maintaining your community and will bring them together. The brothers of Sigma Phi chapter along with the young men of Manhood, INC. mentoring program participated and was assigned to the area aroung the Samuel L. Jeter Activity Center.

After the organizations finished their assignments they all reconvened at the Cleveland Avenue YMCA to report that their trash was in its assigned pick-up areas. After the clean-up day was over the brothers of Sigma Phi concluded the day with lunch and an interest meeting for new SPARKS. It was reported that (10) potentials was present at the interest meeting. The brothers of Sigma Phi should be commended for participating in this first-class event.
